Jonathan Scott Halverstadt has an diverse background which includes network announcing for the NBC and CBS television networks, the role of Barry Parker on ABC TV’s General Hospital and thousands of radio and television commercials. His first book was published when he was 20 years old and he has written for numerous magazines. Jonathan was also the executive editor of Am Magazine — a magazine published in 5 languages for Southeast Asian refugees. His undergraduate work was in the Ministry and his Master’s degree is in Counseling.
Jonathan has been in the Mental Health field for over 20 years and the founder of The Halverstadt Group, a private psychotherapy practice in Central California. Prior to developing his own practice he was clinical staff at The Amen Clinic For Behavioral Medicine and at Cedar Vista Psychiatric Hospital. Jonathan is the author of several books, tapes and magazine articles and speaks extensively throughout the United States.
